Personal Insight & Achievements:

I have a creative and technical mind. When faced with a new challenge I’m patient, determined and dedicated. I consider myself a fast learner, reliable, with good communication skills and I’m able to work on my own or as part of a team.

Since joining Microsoft I have gained an excellent understanding of a wide range of Microsoft software products & applications, some of which include: Office 2003/2007, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Access and internal systems & tools. Above all I have built up a wealth of T-SQL programming using SQL Server 2000 & 2005 on a daily basis.

Specialist Strain Gauge Technician, Straintek Precision Services 

Straintek is a company that is involved in all aspects of industry from the simplest strain gauge bonding and inter-wiring of load cells to complex multi component wind tunnel balances. Straintek is also experienced and well known for applying strain gauges to the motor industry and motor sport inc: Indy cars & F1 cars. (Williams & Renault)

Responsible for strain gauging & inter-wiring specialist jobs such as:

• Multi component wind tunnel balances.
• Down Hole Strain gauging from diameters of 10mm and depths of 50mm.
• F1 Pushrods, track rods, steering columns, suspension & aerofoils.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study various drawings for gauge positions and inter wiring prior to any job.
• Strain gauge and inter wire components, following drawings.
• Prioritise & complete deadlines insuring that work is carried out with the highest quality.

As a Specialist technician and supervisor it’s my duty to check faults & defects on finished products during quality control. If there should be any problems with any components it’s also my duty to rectify the problems.
